Incoming PhD Student in Computer Science
Securing healthcare with post-quantum security and AI.
I am Abdulai Yakubu, a master student at Zhejiang Normal University. My research focuses on AI for security, federated learning, and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).
Research Interests
Broad themes that drive my current and future work.
Post-Quantum Security
Designing lattice-based authentication protocols that remain secure against quantum adversaries.
Internet of Medical Things
Building efficient and secure communication frameworks for connected healthcare devices.
AI for Healthcare Security
Applying machine learning to detect intrusions, anomalies, and adversarial attacks in healthcare systems and medical networks.
Federated Learning
Privacy-preserving distributed training across edge devices without sharing raw patient data.
Cybersecurity
Securing IoT/IoMT ecosystems and healthcare infrastructure through threat modelling, secure protocol design, and resilient defence strategies.
Selected Publications
Recent work on AI for security, IoMT, and applied cryptography.
